How the curriculum is built
Output first
We designed each course starting from a concrete end-state — something you can run and explain — and built the material backwards from there.
Progressive difficulty
Each course assumes completion of the previous. No topic is revisited unnecessarily, and no level skips over concepts the next one depends on.
Actively maintained
Exercises and code examples are reviewed when major libraries change. Enrolled learners are notified when sections they completed have been revised.

Intro to Programming for AI
A gentle starting course covering the coding fundamentals learners need before building AI projects. It is designed for people with little or no programming background who want to understand what the code in AI tutorials is actually doing.
The course works through Python systematically — variables, control flow, functions, and data structures — then applies each concept to the kinds of problems that come up in data handling and basic modelling work. Guided exercises follow each topic and produce output you can inspect.

- Writing and organising functions
- Reading and shaping data with pandas
- Environment setup and package management
- Debugging basics and reading error messages

Hands-On Model Building
An intermediate, project-led course where learners train and test models step by step. It picks up where the Intro course ends and moves into the practical cycle of preparing data, selecting an approach, training a model, and evaluating what it produces.
The work is structured around short projects rather than isolated exercises, so each section builds toward something you can actually assess and discuss. By the end, you will have trained and evaluated at least three models from scratch.

- Data preparation and feature engineering
- Training classification and regression models with scikit-learn
- Evaluation metrics and what they mean
- Diagnosing underfitting and overfitting
- Introduction to PyTorch for neural network basics

Advanced AI Projects with Mentorship
A mentored programme centred on substantial projects, regular code review, and portfolio development. It is designed for learners who have worked through the earlier courses and want to build something they can show to others and explain in depth.
Each participant is assigned a Codethicket instructor who reviews code submissions, provides written feedback on each milestone, and is available for questions throughout. The project scope is agreed at the start and adjusted as the work progresses.
